Youth unemployment in Luxembourg currently stands at 23%. In this challenging environment, Youth & Work has supported a total of 328 young people in 2024 on their path to training and employment. Amongst them, 90 participants successfully found a job or an apprenticeship, while 24 dropped out of the coaching program. The remaining participants continue to receive individual support. On average, 80% of participants achieve their set goals.

The target group of Youth & Work was diverse: 159 women and 168 men took advantage of the program, with an average age of 22. 51% of participants were Luxembourgish, and many joined through referrals from an Office Social, former participants, or friends. Notably, 45% were not registered as job seekers with ADEM, and 17% had already experienced long-term unemployment. Additionally, 55% did not have a school diploma.

Of the 90 successful program graduates, 34% secured a permanent employment contract – a significant step toward long-term job security.
